When what I got out of the show, he seems like a good hearted person that just got caught in the wrong crowd. He treats his kids nice and helped 7 kids get their future in check and guided them off the streets. It pains me to see his little boy cry when they mention daddy going away for a little while. I remember when I was 7 my dad served a year in prison and it broke my heart. I can trace my relationship with him now to him not being there then. I was daddy's little girl when I was young, and after he was released I distanced myself from him and it sadly remained that way. Jail is sometimes what needs to happen for people to snap out of their stupidity. It worked for my dad, hopefully it works for TI.
Even though this is messed up (since I see that he already had turned his life around and going to jail for him seems pointless), kids need to see that EVERYONE gets caught eventually. Ive known many "gansta" kids from my childhood all of them ended up going to jail, all of them also would say that they would never get caught. If the fact that something is morally wrong is not a good enough reason to deter people from committing a crime then fear of punishment should.
ReplyDeleteI think that it's good that T.I. is in jail because a lot of famous people get out of it. It isn't fair that someone who commits the same crime as I do, for instance, they get nothing and I get a year in jail. If I had the money I would obviously want to pay my way out, but most people can't just pay their way out of any situation.
